Pothos
Plant Care
Step 1: Reveal Your New Plant Pal!
Carefully unbox your new pothos plant and clean off any excess dirt that might have escaped on its way to you.
To help make caring for your pothos plant a touch more convenient, we potted this easy plant in a plastic vessel nestled within the decorative pot/basket included with shipment. This makes watering a breeze!
Step 2: Give Pothos A Drink
To water, simply pop the plant and plastic pot out of the pot/basket, place it in your sink, and let the water run (on low) until it begins to leak from the drainage holes on the bottom of the plastic pot and then let your pothos drain completely before popping her back into the basket.
The amount of time between waterings depends on the temperature and moisture level in your space and may be as short as a few days or as long as a few weeks! Just allows your pothos’ soil to dry out completely in between watering sessions.
Step 3: Find A Spot With Indirect Sunlight
Pothos are pretty tolerant of most lighting conditions but thrive in areas with lots of indirect sunlight. For best results, park your plant pal a spot three or four feet from your brightest window. See browning edges or leaves? This means your pothos may be sunburnt, so move it to a spot with less light.
Pro Tip: Place your pothos on a shelf (so its luscious leaves have room to grow down) or give it something to hold onto (so it can grow up), as these plants are known to grow up to 10 feet!
